Sea of Blue ... berries
Blue-popping-berries from the farmer's market.

In thinking about why I wanted to post this, knowing that the blur and the shield your eyes whiteout at the top will not appeal to many, I can only say I actually really love this effect. It's a personal addiction to maximum aperture.  Hey when you don't have these wonderful wide-open landscapes, you have to find other things to play with :-).

I know I could have stopped down (and if I am honest, I should have gone to 1.8 or 2.0 to get a more even diminishing depth of field), but it's the extremity of this that attracts me. I think the berries pop so much more than if they had all been equally sharp, and the flood of hazy blurry light hints what's behind the berries.
